Dear TVBS Parents and Students,
Below is a breakdown of the dress code and activities for the last week of school. Please take note of what is and what is not acceptable. Students not compliant with the dress code will either be sent home, or required to wear something acceptable from the lost and found.
Monday, May 24
DRESS CODE:
FOR K-8TH GRADE ONLY: Regular uniforms, good walking shoes –NO FLIP FLOPS(field trips)
FOR SR. HIGH ONLY: Regular uniforms
SCHOOL HOURS: 8:25 – 3:15
Field Day
Tuesday, May 25
NO COST (except for hot lunch, which is optional and will be the usual $2.50-Money due 5/21)
On Tuesday morning, each class will be involved in their own activity. However, in the afternoon they will be involved in the usual Field Day activities, which will probably include water games!
Because there are a variety of activities the dress codes are as follows:
DRESS CODE:
MORNING ACTIVITY K-8th GRADE ONLY: regular uniforms, flip flops OK for girls
MORNING ACTIVITY SR HIGH ONLY:
Girls- Loose fitting, non-denim capris or athletic pants
Boys- Denim or athletic pants
All Sr. High students- Comfortable shoes to wear on the hike. NO FLIP FLOPS.
AFTERNOON ACTIVITY (ALL GRADES):
Field Day – (Boys and girls will be changing after lunch.) Dark, loose-fitting, knee-length swimming shorts and a dark t-shirt. Dark, non-denim capris are also acceptable for girls.
SCHOOL HOURS: 8:25 – 3:15
Last Day
Wednesday, May 26
We will have morning chapel and then spend the remainder of the day cleaning our room, lockers, etc.
DRESS CODE (ALL):
Girls – knee-length skirt/skort, collared shirt (no questionable logos or tight-fitting clothing);
flip flops OK
Boys – jeans or khakis, collared shirt (no questionable logos)
SCHOOL HOURS: 8:25 – 12:00
